An American-style professional doctorate for those who wish to study a combination of holistic fields by taught courses to doctoral level. Also available as a post-doctoral degree for those who already hold a doctorate.
A wide choice of course units is available, drawn from therapeutic, philosophical, holistic, metaphysical, spiritual, psychological, personal development and counselling-related topics. Upon enrolment, an individualised syllabus is negotiated according to the student's needs and preferences.
The method of study is mainly by textbook-based course units and written assignments can be emailed to the college for assessment. Ongoing CEUs or external trainings can be incorporated and credit can also be earned for ongoing teaching work.
For extremely well-qualified candidates, there is also the provision for this degree to be earned by completion of a thesis or an unpublished manuscript. Such candidates should have a Master's degree and sound professional experience and training.
Please note this program is not a licence or qualification to practice any particular discipline or therapy. It is a professional development doctorate for those already practising within holistic or related fields. The degree may be taken as alternative to or as a supplement to a doctorate in metaphysics, or by multi-skilled practitioners.
