Our Contemporary Voice programmes allow a student to obtain a Mastera s degree from Calamus International University concurrently with studying for a UK diploma at higher or professional level from Voiceworks a International Vocal Academy.
Entry to this program may take place at any time of year subject to availability of places.
MA Contemporary Voice a this degree is for singers in popular (non-classical) styles, for example rock and pop, who already have a Bachelor's degree plus suitable training and performance background in singing, and who would like to achieve an MA by taking modules in contemporary singing and voicework, plus elective units such as psychology of music, history of rock music and, if suitable, some units from other categories. Most of the units available for Contemporary Voice will be provided by Voiceworks International.
The degrees are awarded by Calamus International University, a global distance learning institute that does not have accreditation by any government-recognised agency. CIU degrees are not UK or US degrees.
Graduates will receive the dual qualifications of the relevant higher or professional diploma from Voiceworks plus the Calamus Int'l University MA.
