Get up-to-date on 2012 70E requirement changes for Electrical Safety in the Workplace! The NFPA 70E and Arc Flash Safety course meets or exceeds all OSHA mandated training requirements under 29 CFR 1910 332 for safety related work practices. The program combines lecture and video presentations that deal with all required elements of the OSHAa ™s Electrical Safety-Related Work Practices (Subpart S) and the NFPA 70E standards for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. The NFPA 70E / ArcFlash training course is an 8 hour long Instructor-Led seminar and includes a copy of the 2012 NFPA 70E Standards for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. The training seminar is held in Denver, Colorado.

Upon completion of the training, students will have an understanding of:

- National Electric Codes (NEC)
2. Electricity and Worker Safety
- What is an Electrical Hazard?
- Unsafe Conditions vs Unsafe Acts

- Qualified Person as Defined by OSHA
- LockOut/ TagOut Procedures (29 CFR 1920. 147)
- Voltage Sensors and Meters
- Grounds and Grounding

- Safe Distances
- NFPA
- Energized Electrical Work Permit (EEWP)
- Hazard Analysis
- Conductive Apparel and Insulated Tools
- Protective Shields
- Confined or Enclosed Work Spaces
- Portable Ladders and Electrical Hazards

All recipients will receive a student manual and a copy of the NFPA 70E Standards. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a wallet card showing completion of NFPA 70E / Arc Flash training.
Cost of the course: $175 - A 10% pricing discount is given with reservations of 3 or more students.
