This class prepares the student to take the Association of Facilities Engineering CPMM certification test. The class is 4 days long with testing on day five. The class is available in several formats including live on-line, public sessions and on-site sessions. The on-line and public session are done through AFE sponsorship. The on site sessions are done by Machinery Management Solutions, Inc Director of Operations, Jim Taylor, CPMM.

Certified Plant Maintenance Manager CPMM training
The course covers thirteen units in four days. The schedule for the week is outlined below.
Day 1:
Maintenance Management. The general practice of maintenance management.
Return on investment. How to cost justify improvements or new programs.
CMMS. Selecting and using computerized maintenance management systems.
Indoor air quality. The Maintenance Managers responsibilities for IAQ.
Day 2:
Inventory and procurement. Efficient inventory methods and procurement methods.
Safety. Safety procedures, records and processes.
Planning and scheduling. Planning and scheduling to control work flow.
Day 3:
Preventive maintenance. How equipment fails and using preventive maintenance to prevent failure.
Predictive maintenance. Overview of the PdM philosophy and Major predictive maintenance technologies.
Training and work cultures. How to set up an effective maintenance training program.
Day 4:
Reliability centered maintenance. Overview of the basic RCM process including reliability measures, failure modes and effects analysis, the the RCM decision tree.
Documentation. Basic methods for maintaining documentation, including retention periods.
Total productive maintenance. How TPM is structured and how all the other element interface with it.
