The first step to becoming a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner is to pass the PRINCE2 Foundation Examination at the end of this PRINCE2 Foundation Course. Then successful delegates can attend the 3-day Kennedy Ryder PRINCE2 Practitioner course and sit the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination. The Kennedy Ryder 3-day PRINCE2 Foundation course is for those who need to act as a project manager, project leader or project team leader or those who wish to act as an informed member of a project team operating in a PRINCE2 environment. At the end of the third day delegates will sit a one-hour multiple-choice exam to test their understanding of the principles and terminology of the method. Success in the PRINCE2 Foundation examination leads to an internationally recognized certificate.
This course awards the internationally recognised
PRINCE2® FOUNDATION CERTIFICATE.
During the PRINCE2 Foundation course, delegates will learn the purpose and major content of the 7 PRINCE2 Themes:

- Organization
- Quality
- Plans
- Risk
- Change
- Progress
As well as describing the 7 PRINCE2 Themes, the PRINCE2 Foundation course also covers the purpose and maintenance of the management products that are contained within the method.
Gaining a pass in the PRINCE2 Foundation examination is mandatory if you wish to become a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner. However, for those who do not wish to become project managers, the Kennedy Ryder PRINCE2 Foundation course can be taken as a standalone course and an internationally recognized certificate is awarded when you pass the PRINCE2 Foundation examination.
