Although the vision may have been in place for some time, it s more important now then ever to convey to the entire organization what you are doing, why you are doing it, and why it needs to be done.

Focusing on Critical Business Operations
Communicate the importance to remain focused on critical business operations and implement performance measures. This will ensure that any imposed changes will not negatively impact overall productivity and performance.

Preparing for Operational Changes
Clearly implementing documented operational procedures will ensure an effective organizational change. Whether it's job descriptions, procedures, or processes, documenting changes clearly will increase productivity during the transition.

Train, Train, Train, Train, Train
Find the key personnel, and make sure they have their training process wrapped up tight. Do it yourself if you have to If this isn't done, then all of your hard work is gone. Hold key personnel accountable for the training. Ensure they have the tools, and the delivery planned to successfully train your organization through the transition.

Implementing New Performance Measures
The quicker your organization sees the results of your implementation, the quicker they will embrace it. Ensure the performance measures are in place to track your implementation. Your organization must see the results to embrace it, and by keeping them focused on critical operations, the performance will be there.

Sharing the Success
Communicate successes to your organization. You may have been the one leading them through the transition, but they did all the work. Communicate gratitude, share the success, and they will embrace the challenge again.
