nYou will see at least three dozen case studies of completed affordable workforce housing developments which were well-received by their neighbors and residents. These will be explained using images of plans and photos of the completed developments. This teleconference will help you understand how to successfully organize a community to engage rationally and creatively in the design of new housing developments which meet the needs of the developers, neighbors and future residents. To avoid lengthy and contentious public review procedures, these methods have proven to help expedite the design and public review process, saving time and money for developers, and resulting in developments that better meet the needs of the residents.
