BenefitsThe term public/private partnership (P3) has recently emerged as one of the latest buzz words in the development area. States and local governments are struggling with resource limitations and ever-increasing demands of infrastructure. The involvement of the private sector offers an enticing solution for meeting massive infrastructure needs. At the same time
P3s provide an opportunity for developers and contracts to weather this economic crisis. The expectations and hopes are high on all sides, and the risks, political and financial, are even higher. The purpose of this teleconference is to assist you in understanding how the P3 model works and to provide you with tools for evaluating the viability of a proposed P3.
