40 Hour Basic Mediation Training

Mediation

Conflict Resolution Associates, LLC
Training Provided by Conflict Resolution Associates, LLC Mediation has been described as the art of peace. At a basic level, mediation is a process in which a trained, impartial, third-party helps two or more parties to a dispute move toward a mutually acceptable agreement. While we may not engage in a formal process, many of us use mediation skills in our daily interactions with others. Many of us could use more of those skills in our professional and personal lives. This Basic Mediation course has been designed to meet the core standards for a 40-hour basic mediation course, as required by many courts, agencies, and other entities throughout the United States. As requirements vary from state to state and program to program, please be sure to check the requirements for any mediation program you wish to participate in before taking this course. In this self-paced, instructor-mentored, program, the curriculum is delivered primarily online, with students submitting written assignments and completing unit quizes to comprehension and completion of the material. Students will practice skills through instructor directed role-play exercises conducted in real time online. Students will also receive two nationally recognized texts. Students have one year to complete the course. *Learn at your own pace, and in the comfort of your own home or office *Personalized instruction *Easy-to-navigate course portal *Convenient (and fun) virtual campus *Professionally designed curriculum *Real-time instructor led role-play exercises Idaho Mediation Association approved for 40 hours CEUs
