The course will be aimed at providing "hands on training"(with databases such as Oracle, Reading heterogeneous files, HTTP Messages, working with XML, new features of Informatica v8. 6 and lot more).
We will walk through examples of using Informatica and the concepts that make it a Industry-Leader in Integration & Enablement Industry. I will show you some real life examples how big organizations implement Informatica to handle their data warehousing needs. You are sincerely requested to practice the examples beyond training classes. The most fruitful session among the participants turns out to be "Sample DI Project".
This instructor-led course provides the basic skills and knowledge developers new to Informatica PowerCenter require to implement data integration projects, exposing core features of PowerCenter releases 8. 0 to 8. 6 through lecture and hands-on exercises.. In addition to gaining tremendous insight into the data integration platform, students will be exposed to Informatica Velocity Best Practices and troubleshooting techniques. The course concludes with workshops in which students design and implement a data integration project based on business requirements.
