The seminar then shifts to cost estimating concepts such as types; purposes; and methodologies of cost estimates, total cost of a project, direct and indirect costs, labor and equipment cost analysis, materials and procurement management, overhead; contingency; and profit, bonds and insurance, general tips in quantity and cost estimating, cost tracking and control, Earned Value analysis, and a glimpse on computer estimating software.
