Statement on Auditing Standards No. 104 - No. 111 Risk Assessment Standards

Lorman Education Services
Training Provided by Lorman Education Services nThis teleconference will provide experienced and inexperienced auditors a concise summary of the risk assessment standards. In addition, this will provide auditors recommendations on how to become more efficient and effective in their application of these standards leading to less time required to implement the standards and a greater realization on audits. Since the majority of auditors may be working with smaller businesses, this teleconference will include situations encountered with companies that have limited controls and suggestions to meet the standards in this environment. n nFor nonauditors (for example controllers and CFOs), suggestions will be provided to implement controls using cost effective measures. This will include methods to perform a risk assessment and controls that can be implemented to address these risks. Performing an efficient risk assessment will allow you to reduce the risk of material misstatements and ultimately reduce the audit fees. n
