UNDERSTANDING AND INTERPRETING CLIENT COMPANY ACCOUNTS -
ONE DAY
During this course participants work to improve their understanding of company accounts.
In groups delegates examine a number of 'real world' scenarios and, with support provided by the course tutor, use financial information to reach recommendations and conclusions.
Early on in the programme, participants work in pairs to review a set of accounts for a client they know or for another company they are interested in.

- Do you think this company is well placed to contemplate an acquisition (why)?
Delegates then go on to work on understanding key linkages in accounts, use accounts in company valuation and place themselves in the position of a business owner faced with an offer to purchase their business. Based on the financial information available, what ball-park offer would seem reaonable?
