Designed for the intermediate to advanced user, this two-day course teaches the editor how to apply Symphony specific effects like motion tracking, Ultimatte and Reformat as well as how to utilize Color Correction mode. The editor will learn how to track the motion of a selected area in an image and how to stabilize jerky video images. He/ she will learn Symphony's real time keyer, Ultimatte, which can reproduce fine details like hair as well as transparent or translucent objects. The course also covers reformatting images to a different aspect ratio, such as reformatting a 16: 9 image to 4: 3 with the Pan and Scan effect. The editor will also learn proper workflow and tools for primary and secondary color correction. This includes analyzing footage for luma and color problems and replacing colors within an image.
