This course covers ten (10) hours of topics, required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), that apply toward a 10-hour Construction Industry course completion card. This training is comprised of 12 sections, covering topics pertaining to regulations covered by Standard 29 CFR 1926. The successful completion of this course will help to meet the Construction Industry standards established by OSHA.
OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of their job. For specific hazards, such as Fall Protection or Excavations, Competent Level Person training is required.
OSHA ACCEPTED:
This online Construction Outreach course has been reviewed and accepted by OSHA for online distribution. It also meets the training requirements set by laws in the states of MA, NY, CT, RI, NH, MO, and NV for working on public job sites.
OSHA CARD: Upon successful completion of this 10 Hour Outreach course, you may download and print a certificate of completion. In addition, the US Department of Labor will mail you an official OSHA wallet card that shows course completion.

The OSHA 10 Hour Construction Outreach training course is a self-paced online program for construction workers, superintendents and foremen.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
- Student will learn the purpose of the OSH Act and understand the functions of OSHA
- Understand the rights and responsibilities of employers & employees under the OSH Act
- Understand OSHA inspection priorities and the OSHA inspection process
- Learn to recognize hazards on the job site and know what OSHA regulations apply to the work performed.

- Introduction to OSHA, an overview of OSHA safety regulations and the general duty clause. Employee rights and responsibilities
- Electrical
- Fall Protection
- Personal Protective & Lifesaving Equipment
- Health Hazards in Construction

- Scaffolds Cranes
- Derricks, Hoists, Elevators & Conveyors

TESTING:
Quizzes - All section quizzes must be completed to proceed forward to the next lesson.
Final Exam - Final Exam must be passed with a 70 to pass the course. The final exam can be taken three times if necessary.
