BenefitsSeasonal influenza continues to be a regular challenge for health care and public health personnel. However, the events of
April 2009 changed our perception of influenza when a novel
Influenza A strain emerged and produced the first pandemic in almost 50 years. This teleconference will explore the changing influenza strains and the illnesses that result. You will come away enabled to better protect yourself and your community when confronted with influenza, and be armed with a useful depth of understanding regarding this ever changing and consistently challenging health care issue.
