Training
Provided by A2Z Security Group
Job seekers or those facing redundancy and who can meet the following criteria are entitled to FREE training and support through the Response to Redundancy programme. If you:
Live or currently work in the SE Region of UK (Berkshire, Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Buckinghamshire)
Are over 19 years of age
Have recently been or are under notice of redundancy
Been unemployed for less than 6 months
Resident in any EU country for at least 3 years

With career advice and guidance
To prepare for job applications and interviews
To re-train for a new career
Gain up to date qualifications
Related Awards, Degrees or Certifications: Depends on the training undertaken

Response to Redundancy
Response to Redundancy is an EU and Learning Skills Council funded program designed to help people who are under threat of redundancy, have been made redundant or are newly unemployed to return to work.
The program is FREE. It can last between 16 and 80 hours and will incorporate all of the following:
Advice and guidance on career planning
Detailed examination of current skills and abilities
Development of a career plan
Training which may lead to new qualifications in areas such as security or customer service
CV writing and job application form training
Job interview skills training
Confidence training
Presentation Skills training
Business start training (for those considering this option)
The program will be delivered as part private study and part classroom in various parts of the SE region. All candidates will receive personal support by telephone, email and face to face from tutors who have already been in your position.
