Setting Up Your Own Emergency Services Website Start out with simple word programs and tables, learning how to convert them to the HTML Format, which is the format that is required to allow your site to be viewed by others. Learn to select and purchase a domain name. We will work with Publisher, Front Page, PDF Files, Word Documents, and other data that can be added to your site to give it flair and design. We will learn Flash and other programs that will help get your site noticed. Once we have taught you how to create your site, we will learn how to use FTP, or File Transfer Protocol, to get your files transferred from your home or office computer to your hosting service so that others can see the work you've done
