This course discusses the need for an effective Written Safety Program and Policies. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: analyze the requirements of an organization existing safety program; develop site-specific elements of an organization safety program; and determine the effectiveness of current safety program.
Major topics covered in the course are: the safety management system, safety culture and the major elements of a written safety program. In addition students are required to plan, develop, and evaluate safety programs that help improve productivity and decrease worksite incidents as well as to work safety on the jobsite.
