SEVEN Innovative Techniques to Streamline the Process of Procuring Routine Raw Materials

Business Process Management

Training Provided by Manufacturing Executive Institute Much has changed in the world of purchasing over the last two decades. Globalization of supply chains, economic pressures to reduce prices and the need to manage procurement risks have all changed the responsibilities in the Procurement organization. Add to this an ever increasing work load driven by shorter product life cycles and more frequent new product introductions, and one can quickly understand why purchasing needs to find new methods for executing the routine activities of the purchasing process. Inventing time to focus on more important supply chain issues has become as important as reducing direct material costs.
