CLOTHING: Please wear loose, casual clothing as you will be expected to both give and receive the massage. please be aware that oil may come into contact with your clothing WHAT TO BRING: Your lunch and a large towel for your own use. WHAT IS INCLUDED: Equipment used during the day, course manual, handouts as applicable, Practitioners Diploma, refreshments. QUALIFICATION: Practitioners Certificate. This intensive course in Swedish Massage offers the student the opportunity to gain recognition following fast track training. To be able to offer Swedish Massage as a professional therapy to the fee paying public, the student will also study anatomy and physiology to an acceptable level. The A & P module is taken by home study, as are the elements on Client ethics, Health & Safety etc. The two days of intensive training are entirely hands-on and practical. There are no exams with the certificate course; you will be assessed throughout the training days. This allows the tutor to help you address faults and correct same before they become habitual. There will also be a short multiple choice questionnaire WHAT YOU WILL LEARN ANATOMY and PHYSIOLOGY You will learn the systems and the functions of the body, followed by a multiple choice questionnaire. SWEDISH MASSAGE You will learn a full massage routine using classical movements. In addition, you will learn Health & Safety, data protection, client ethics, and much more.

Anatomy Physiology and Swedish massage Peterborough Hands-on-workshops offer a rare opportunity for the participant to gain a recognised qualification in Anatomy, Physiology and Swedish Massage. Fully accredited and insurable qualification course
The Swedish Massage Course is suitable for students with little or no prior knowledge of Bodywork. It is hands-on, practical and theoretical. The Swedish Massage module is taken in conjunction with the Anatomy and Physiology module.
The maximum number of participants is four, this allows for personal time to be spent each day with the student on a one to one level. During this session, the tutor is able to monitor the standard of massage techniques, correct faults before they become habitual, answer questions, and discuss any problems as they arise. The philosophy of Hands-on-Workshops is to be as fully available and approachable as possible throughout the course.

This intensive training course is held over two days, with a commitment to home study and practice.

This course is fully insurable and accredited with the CMA and carries 40 CPD points

A practical assessment, plus multiple choice questionnaire will complete the course on the final day.
