We are an Official Nagios Training Provider. Nagios Live Training provides a details on how to monitor Linux servers, Windows servers, printers, routers, switches and other network equipment. Each student will be provided access to a server to set up Nagios and test settings. The class is a 5 week class with instructor access during that time and scheduled meetings between the student and instructor twice a week for demonstrations and questions by the student. Total live classroom is 20 hours. This is a virtual classroom so students from anywhere are able to take the class and we provide a flexible schedule for different time zones.

Nagios Server Monitoring
The Nagios Server Monitoring course provides students with hands on set up and configuration of a Nagios 3. x Server. Each student will be provided access to a server to set up Nagios and test settings. The class is a 5 week class with instructor access during that time and scheduled meetings between the student and instructor once a week for demonstrations and questions by the student.

Printed Documentation
Each student receives a Lab Manual that has step-by-step information for learning and Labs for assessment. These are lay flat bindings so you can work from the manual while on a server.
Help for Difficult Questions
Live training provides immediate answers to difficult questions and immediate feedback.
Flexible Class Time
The instructor time is set up to allow complete flexibility with each student schedule and pace.
Instructor Access
Students will have weekly sessions with a qualified instructor to discuss questions and view demonstrations by the instructor on topics of the student's choice.
View Instructor Demonstrations
Students may view a number of multimedia presentations and demonstrations from the instructor's desktop. Linux Training sessions provide the same learning opportunities as a physical classroom setting.
Linux Training Server to Learn On
Each student will be provided a real Linux server to work on during the class. This provides students with real skill development as they work through the class. Students will also be shown how to use and install a virtual machine.
Interactive Labs
Students will have labs to complete to develop Linux administration skills. These labs are step-by-step in completing the necessary tasks to become a Nagios Administrator.

Outline of the Class
Basic Nagios Configuration
Basic configuration includes installation, adding public services to monitor and reviewing file locations. Monitor Linux Machines
Use NRPE to monitor services and internal aspects like processor load, disk and memory usage, running processes, log files, etc.
Monitor Network Printers
Setup and monitor printer toner and status.
Monitor Windows Machines
Monitor both external and internal aspects of the Windows machine including applications, processor load, disk and memory usage, running processes, log files, etc.
Monitor Routers and Switches with SNMP
Learn how to use SNMP tools and set up so you can monitor your routers and switches including traffic usage.
