AC100: Advanced Coach (1)
Hours 32 hours of teleclasses plus reading and posting on the discussion forum
Objectives Advanced Coach is designed to provide the skills and techniques to be an
effective coach. Part 1 focuses on gaining an understanding of fundamental
coaching skills.

Peer Coaching (4 classes)
Creating your coaching Model (3 classes)
The ICA Coaching Process (4 classes)

Peer Coaching To fully experience coaching and to be guided and mentored in the early stages
of your training, you will have the opportunity to coach and be coached. Your
coach will be an advanced student and the coaching will consist of a total of 12 coaching sessions with at least 50 percent of the contact by telephone. The opportunity to be coached and to provide coaching yourself in the Peer Program enables you to put your theory into practice from Day 1.
AC200: Advanced Coach (II)
Hours 27 hours
Summary Advanced Coach Part II extends knowledge and skills in coaching techniques and tools. Building on the techniques learnt in Advanced Coach Part 1, this course allows for greater depth and rigour. Coaching Processes and Coaching Models are developed in this course

Summary This course is part of the assessment requirements at ICA. A coach supervises students in their coaching. This is a great opportunity to learn as you listen and support your fellow students as they coach and also for yourself.

Hours 12 hours
Summary Coaching Practicum is 12 weeks in length and focuses on intense coaching practice and feedback in your niche market. Your niche market is the market you have experience in. You will join other coaches to role play and practice coaching in the context of your niche. An experienced coach from your niche facilitates the classes or industry and you will be given feedback and support to
develop your coaching skills.
