Acumen Training
John Deubert has been in the electronic printing and publishing world since the beginning. An Adobe employee during its startup days, John brings to his activities an unusually long experience with electronic printing, publishing, and distribution of documents.
John has taught engineering-level classes in PostScript throughout the world since 1985 and in advanced users Acrobat in North America since 1996. He currently teaches as a consultant under the name Acumen Training and distributes a monthly technical newsletter, the Acumen Journal.
Widely regarded as an excellent instructor, John has a knack for making complex, technical subjects understandable, regardless of an audience"s technical background. He has written two books for Adobe Press: Creating Acrobat Forms and Extending Acrobat Forms With JavaScript.
John has just recently introduced a new, engineering class on the PDF file format: PDF File Content and Structure.
