UNI Regional Business Center
The University of Northern Iowa Regional Business Center is a one-stop shop for Northeast Iowa entrepreneurs. We offer technical, financial, and support services through several entrepreneurial development organizations, including the UNI Small Business Development Center (SBDC), UNI John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (JPEC), Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE), and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
Our referral network comprises a variety of professional service providers, including accountants, attorneys, and bankers, as well as the UNI Business and Community Services divisions.
Our newly renovated facility in downtown Waterloo provides clients access to leading edge technology in a SBA Business Information Center (BIC), a 14-station computer lab, and office suites for business acceleration. We offer a variety of classes aimed at both pre-venture and existing business clients, as well as outreach to our rural communities.
