Mark A. Haerr is an educator and business practitioner in the fields of financial management and managerial accounting. As an educator, he serves as an adjunct professor for various institutions of higher education. As a practitioner, he serves as a financial management consultant for businesses. Mr. Haerr teaches Financial Management and Securities Analysis within the Graduate School of Management at the University of Dallas (1998 to present). At Southern Methodist University, he teaches a finance and accounting for non-financial managers class in their continuing studies program (1997 to present). Prior to teaching at the University of Dallas and Southern Methodist University, he taught a non-credit business class at Richland Community College (1995 to 1997). As a seminar discussion leader, he has conducted various business and financial management seminars for numerous state societies of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and for the State Bar of Texas Continuing Legal Education program. Additionally, he conducts corporate training seminars for the Professional Development Institute of the University of North Texas. As a practitioner of finance and accounting, Mr. Haerr is president and principal consultant of AMT Financial Consultants, Inc. (founded in 1995, formerly known as Prospective Ventures, Inc.) a consulting firm that provides financial analysis, management and training services to businesses. AMT services include business valuations, litigation support, CFO (Chief Financial Officer) support and finance/accounting training programs.
