Roudenbush Community Center
Since 1897 the original Westford Academy Building at 65 Main St. has provided a road to life-long learning and family activities and care. First a private academy, then a public academy and elementary school, in the fall of 1975 it became the Roudenbush Community Center. It has been a landmark of education, public and community service to the Town of Westford and its residents and businesses for over 100 years. Roudenbush Community Center (RCC) programs include Community Education (CE), gymnastics, preschool and childcare. RCC continues to grow not only in the programs offered but in community service too. The CE Department provides new and exciting classes, trips and events for children and adults. Modern technology learning includes online and tele learning. Over 900 programs were offered during the past year with over 8,000 adults and children participating.
The Mission: The Roudenbush Community Center was established to enrich the lives of Westford residents by offering programs and services in the areas of educations, entertainment, health and the arts at the lowest possible cost to the taxpayers.
