Free!!Free!! Office Occupation Training is free to anyone that qualifies. This training is to prepare students for office setting. Upcoming training will be in September 2004. It is a 22 weeks training including 4 weeks of internship with a local company. Students will learn Busines communication, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Keyboarding, Office Procedures, Office communication, Business math, interviewing techniques, how to get a job and keep their job once hired. Tuition will be paid in full if qualified through financial aid, ESD, Worker retraining, TANF and others. If students need childcare, transportaion, housing, etc, case managers are available to help. After training, case manager will assist students find jobs that are $9+ plus full benefits. Classes are taught by Seattle Job Initiative (SJI) at Seattle Vocational Institute.
