Sycamore Tree Ministries, Inc., is a non-profit ministry established to help churches and other ministries understand how to and to effectively reach and care for people with disabilties. We do facility and cirriculum evaluations. We train church and ministry staff (paid and volunteers) how to meet the needs of and help people with disabilities. We work to help churches and ministries involve people with disabilities in all aspects of church life and ministry.
Sycamore Tree Ministries, Inc., was founded by a pastor with 14 years of experience as a full-time Senior Pastor, and 3 years of experience of using a wheelchair for all mobility because of Multiple Sclerosis. Jimmy knows and understands the struggles of day to day life in ministry in churches & denominations. He understands tight budgets, and the concern for the finances of the church. But he also understands what it is like to go to a church that is not accessible. He knows what it is to be denied access by a few stairs.
We at Sycamore Tree Ministries, Inc., understand that most churches are exempt from the ADA by statute. But we also understand that the Bible teaches that the Apostle Paul said that he "became all things to all men, that by all means he may save some..." we want to help you become a viable means of outreach and ministry for people with disabilties.
