***STRATEGIC & MARKETING PLANNING***As you begin the process of developing or expanding a successful sales team, you are forced to carefully evaluate where your organization has been versus where you would like it to go. Many times a course change is required to position your firm onto a more acceptable path.
Developing a formal strategic plan facilitates this course change. The staff of The $elling Edge , Inc. is trained in guiding management along this precarious planning path to the completion of a formal written document that defines management's goals and plots specific strategies to achieve them.***DIAGNOSTIC WORKSHOPS***The $elling Edge , Inc. diagnostic workshops are designed to assess a company or service firm's sales and customer service procedures and success levels, then obtain ideas on how to improve upon what is presently in place. As outside observers with no ax to grind, the information we obtain from these unique workshops can help clients to effectively improve their overall marketing activities. Sessions are made up of a representative group of five to seven participants from similar job descriptions and/or pay scales or a given department (production workers, customer service personnel, route sales employees, etc.). Participants are selected at random and sessions are conducted with no supervisors attending a workshop. After meeting with a group of the rank and file, we follow up these workshop sessions with a meeting made up of a group of managers or super- visors of the employees in the previous meetings, to effectively assess what we have learned from their staff members. Then a verbal report is given to the top administrators of the company or firm and a written report with recommendations provided for follow-through.
