Chronos
Chronos is an e-learning tutorial on the business case for sustainable development. Drawing on the experience of many of the world"s largest companies, it is designed to make sustainbale development relevant and meaningful to the everyday work of employees and thus to help organisations move sustainable development thinking into the mainstream.
It is available via the Internet and on CD-Rom.
There are now more than 100 organisations through the world using Chronos, with a total of around 40,000 user licences. Some, including Shell and Philips, have customised Chronos to their own requirements, which can include corporate branding as well as video messages from their own executives. The software has been translated into Spanish and Portuguese and other languages are planned.
Chronos is a joint initiative of CPI and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and has its own website www.sdchronos.org where you can find more information or order online.
