Getting an interview is the primary goal. When you do have an interview scheduled, it is essential that you prepare carefully, present yourself in the best possible light during the interview itself, and follow up in a positive manner.
Interview Questions :
An employer may not legally request certain facts about you. On the other hand, some interviewers are not trained and may ask an illegal question simply in an attempt to show interest in you. You therefore should give some thought to how you will answer questions that you believe are illegal.

You can request time to consider. Organizations understand that you have applied to more than one place and may want to wait for additional responses. Be specific, however, about when you will make a decision.
You can decline the offer.
