Classroom instruction offered in Tallahassee and Tampa, Florida includes courses for certification in disaster trauma, compassion stress management, compassion fatigue therapy, and PTSD assessment and treatment. CEUs are offered by the State of Florida for the following professionals: LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, psychologists, school psychologists, and limited license psychologists. Figley Institute is accredited by the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology (www.greencross.org).

The Figley Institute offers training and continuing education programs to those who provide relief to emotionally traumatized individuals and communities. Our clients include school counselors, military personnel, disaster behavioral health responders, chaplains/clergy, clinicians, social workers, and others who work with traumatized populations.
