| Health & Social Care (Certified Care & Nursing Assistant)For those who are not familiar with Care or Nursing Assistants, it is known by many names: Nurses Aides, Patient Care Technicians, Home Health Aides and more, depending on where you live and work.

Foundation Certificate in Health & Safety in the Workplace.
This is the health & safety qualification certificated by the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health (RSPH). The course is accredited by regulatory authorities of England, Wales and Northern Ireland (QCA, ACCAC & CCEA). It is a six hour course with multiple choices to follow. It is run on a one day with an examination at the end of the day. It covers such topics as health & safety legislation, accidents/ill-health, risk assessment, first aid, workplace health, safety and welfare, use of electric equipment, fire prevention, occupational health and manual handling.
Health & Safety Awareness
A three hour session to introduce the basics of good practice for persons who only require a limited knowledge. Topics include: basic law and risk assessment, accidents, first aid, electricity/fire prevention use of hazardous substances and manual handling.
Manual Handling Course
On completion of this training session staff will be competent in the safe methods of moving and handling of patients or goods. Staff will have the basic knowledge of the structure and function of the spine and will be aware of correct posture and back care. Aware of risks of injuries when poor techniques are used. and the basic understanding of ergonomics and the legal implications
Foundation Certificate in Food Safety
This is the foundation certificate in food hygiene qualification certificated by the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health (RSPH). The course is accredited by regulatory authorities QCA, ACCAC & CCEA. It is a six hour course with multiple choices to follow. It is run on a one day with an examination at the end of the day. It covers such topics as food poisoning, bacteriology, contamination, temperature control, pest control and the law
