He has around 25 years of experience in teaching, research and software development in several organizations of international repute. He has initiated a project group on ADHOCNET at IIMC and having research collaboration with ATR Adaptive Communications Research Laboratories of Japan on Ad Hoc Networks using Smart Antennas since 2001 till March 2005. We have developed short and mid-range RFID systems using ACM125RW-SDK from Aster Microelectronics and EP RFID Wi-Fi development kit based on multi-protocol MPR6000 RFID from WJ Communications Inc. We are also working with ZigBee-based mesh networks using CC2420 Zigbee Development kit from Chipcon and having expertise in programming with Atmel AVR Studio 4 and Atmega 128 microcontroller. We are extending the RFID technology for designing and implementing complex systems with active RFIDs to overcome current limitations of passive and semi-passive RFID solutions.
