MOVEO - International corporeal mime school
Since its creation in 2004, the Escuela Internacional de Mimo Corporal Dramatico focuses on teaching a physical theatre based on Etienne Decroux's corporeal mime and on the variations experimented by the people who continued developing this technique, to students and actors from 20 different countries (people from various horizons and backgrounds: professional actors and dancers, but also students of other subjects and people only interested in discovering this artform).
The School offers full time professional training, evening clases, and workshops.

The actors we have trained until now, independently of their level, specialisation or previous experience, have learnt to bring the body to one action, to breathe with it and manage for it to express itself, in harmony with the voice, music, lights...They have learnt the importance of stage presence.
Through a clear technique, the study of corporal and dramatic articulation, of classic and modern repertoire, of improvisation and the acquisition of mechanisms necessary for creating, we are training actors/actresses who control their instrument in order for it to be at the service of his/her ideas and imagination.
Our strong base in coral work allows one to acquire a group awareness, necessary to create a clear and clean scene. For this purpose, the student learns dramaturgical principles like causalities and chronology, which give tools to work on creating dramatic moments. The rhythm is for us the base of interpretation.
