Hope and Elvis
Hope and Elvis (Nottinghamshire) offer workshops and training for people interested in learning more about vintage textiles and how to create something new from old! Bags, skirts, teddy bears, keepsakes....day courses suitable for all levels. Training is offered by Louise Presley in the Artist Studios, at Welbeck, Nottinghamshire.
Louise is a experienced adult tutor and also gives talks and demonsrations to interested groups. Her background is in fashion and commercial textiles and she worked for a international group based in the UK. Hope & Elvis was established in 2003 and her work has featured in The Mail on Sunday, The English Home and Elle. She now works mainly to commission and is undertaking an MA in Fine Art.
