AFA is accredited to deliver training and consultancy in the Best Practice methodologies:
PRINCE2 project management
MSP programme management
M_o_R risk management
Taken together these methodologies make up the Office of Government Commerce s (OGC) Successful Delivery Toolkit .
Unlike other training organisations, which deliver a wide range of training events covering many unrelated topics, AFA s core business is based on the Best Practice methodologies. AFA trainers and consultants have served on the editing teams and review panels for all recent updates of the guidance manuals; several AFA consultants also act as examiners and assessors for one or more of the methodologies; AFA s managing director was commissioned by OGC to write Tailoring PRINCE2 .
AFA has ten years of experience in delivering PRINCE2, MSP and M_o_R training, both on scheduled public courses and in-house client events. Our full range of exam courses can be delivered as dedicated client events, or we can tailor our standard courses to suit corporate clients.
AFA training is delivered by trainers approved under OGC s accreditation scheme who also have recent experience of applying the methodologies during consultancy assignments. This ensures that illustrations and anecdotes have up-to-date validity and that the training given, whilst being true to the syllabus, is also pragmatic.
