What: I teach Accent Reduction and Speech Enhancement to the entertainment industry and the corporate sector. I teach people who speak English as a second language, speak with more clarity, better pronunciation, improved verbal fluidity and enhanced speech. I teach one on one and group classes.
Where: in my studio in High Park, Toronto.
How: I teach people auditory discrimination which is the ability to hear the difference between the sound and pronunciation they are using and compare it to the correct substitution. I teach them visual discrimination through use of the IPA (international phonetic alphabet) finally I teach them tactile discrimination which is the ability to feel what is being articulated in their mouth. All three come together to help everyone reach their potential. I also use these methods because not everyone learns the same way, some have a favorite way to comprehend what is being taught, and it works for them.

: 10 weeks two Group classes for individuals where English is a second language.
Tues and Thurs nights from 5-9pm starting July 3 and 5. Classes are 5-10 people.
Students learn:
How to pronounce English vowels and consonants
Word pairing, word stress, intonation
Warming up the voice so not to strain.
Articulation exercises to help the articulators of the mouth move in the correct direction to pronounce a word.
