Dr. Victor Martinez Reyes provides negotiations training and coaching as well as serves as mediator in commercial and labor disputes. Training is based on experiential learning. A typical training session includes games, simulations and other activities that help acquire the indispensable negotiating skills. During the training you will learn how to formulate your goals and strategy, what tactics you can implement, what dirty tricks you will confront, etc. You will learn when win-win negotiations make sense and when they don t, and of course you will learn and practice implementing the different available strategies from pure bargaining to cooperative problem solving. Special training sessions negotiating in Spanish have been designed to help English speakers who deal with Latino or Spanish companies. These sessions include besides the language, topics like cross-cultural differences and expectations. Dr. Martinez Reyes has got outstanding practical expertise and academic credentials: amongst other he has mediated labor disputes in the shipyards of Gdansk and negotiated collective labor agreements for international airlines (including pilots, crew and other civil aviation personnel). He has 15 years experience providing negotiations and conflict resolution training in Europe, the U.S.A., Latin America (Venezuela, Argentina, Costa Rica) and Asia (Thailand and Sri Lanka). Dr. Martinez Reyes works and lives in Miami, Florida. He provides training and mediation in the location agreed with the client. Dr. Martinez Reyes is a political scientist (Ph.D.) and psychologist (M.A.). He is an expert in political psychology and has carried out extensive research on conflict resolution and negotiations in the European Union. Dr. Martinez Reyes is a professor at Florida International University and at Warsaw University (Poland).
