About work Senses: Work Senses is involved in conducting Professional Effectiveness Workshops for corporate and educational institutions. Work Senses aims at facilitating human development through achieving optimum use of the five basic human senses controlled by the most powerful sixth sense - the human brain-power to grow towards greater levels of professional (and personal) effectiveness Purpose of this workshop: Develop individuals to achieve maximum effectiveness at work, through the use of practical techniques. This workshop addresses the casual and saturated attitude towards growth by facilitating individuals to focus their resources towards being goal oriented. Target Audience: * Mid-management to workshop floor operators * New recruits (as a part of induction training) * Existing employees (as refresher motivational training, issue based attitudinal training) * Students Workshop Programme: * Basic Workshop Option 1: This can be arranged as a 3-day workshop, the first two days will be held consecutively and the third day will be held within the following week (allowing for practice and feedback about the effectiveness of the techniques discussed during the first two days). Option 2: This can be arranged as a 5-sessions workshop (1/2 day each). These sessions will be held within a span of 10 days. * Customised Workshop: Client chosen modules (dealt with relevant depth and duration) to address training needs, issues identified. Training Methodology: * Understanding training needs: The factors that have driven the organisation towards growth. The concerns that the organisation is facing (ideally, concerns at specific levels in the orgainstaion). Individual developmental needs of each participant. * Pre-workshop assessment: Before we undertake any developmental journey with a group, an individual rates himself/herself on relevant parameters, in accordance with the TNA and module contents. This rating is further substantiated by the same assessment being carried out by a immediate superior. * During the Workshop: Group based conceptual training imparted experientially through the use of down-to-earth practical techniques involving role-play, pranayam methods, physical exercises, demonstration (carried out by participants) / case study based examples. Many of these techniques are designed in such a way as to ensure instantaneous take-away, the rest of them need to be practiced for about 3 weeks to be utilized in the work place in a time frame of 2 to 5 mins. This method of training is supported by a training kit consisting of the training literature, dynamic worksheets (which the participants fill during the workshop), a notepad and a pencil. * Post Workshop Follow-up: After 2 weeks of completion of the workshop, a one-one follow-up review will be held with each participant, regarding the practice of the techniques and any individual development based issues. * Further follow-up sessions can be scheduled based on client requirement. Batch size: 20 to 25 participants Training Facilities required: * Training hall with ample space to seat 25 participants in a U formation (only chairs no writing table/desk) and lots of space for all 25 participants to move around freely, simultaneously. Access to outdoors would be an would add to the impact. * LCD projector with display screen. * A writing board with markers. * A table of size 4 X 2 (approx.) to arrange workshop equipment. * A water dispenser other catering outside the training hall. * A provision to hang a bell just outside the training hall. * The floor (and carpet) should be well cleaned as participants will be required to sit on the floor for few activities.
