Total Life Center consists of competent doctorate/masters level professionals licensed mental health counselors and interns who provide emotional mental and spiritual care for the individual and family. TLC is a group of counselors and therefore can handle almost any issue

At Total Life Counseling we focus on more than just the Mind " we focus on the Total person.

Clients travel all over Florida from the Bahamas and Georgia as TLC has worked with patients' and their prescribers' to reduce their dependency on medication. Since 2003 85 of our patients were stabilized with FDA approved supplements and diet modifications.

Patients receive tremendous relief from their symptoms with less or in some cases without medication.

Mandated reporting of physical and sexual reporting;this workshop looks at who is mandated to report incidents of physical and sexual abuse in the state of Florida. What are the indicators and symptoms of abuse and what to expect when making a report are examined. Reasons people are uncomfortable with reporting abuse are discussed. Understanding self-injurious behavior in adolescents;This workshop examines the prevalance of self-harming behavior and its functions. What can teachers, parents and friends do to help these teens will be discussed. Anxiety disorders in children looks at how anxiety affects children in the classroom. These children often fall through the cracks because they are not the behavioral problems and don't create the uproar other children do to receive attention. The missing piece in sexual abuse treatment; the key to reducing the risk of revictimization. This workshop addresses the need to teach safety in the early stages of sexual abuse treatment. Survivors are often revictimized because they ignore or dissociate when confronted with cues in the environment that might warn them of potential danger. I teach at workshops at conferences, school in-services and university classes when invited. I also teach at Total Life Counseling at our Hiawassee office and 1850 Lee Road Office (Suite 215).
