We sell the RemediationPlus System to school boards/districts.We believe in standardizing the remediation of literacy instruction across an entire department.We teach the teachers to test and analyze why the students are not reading and spelling proficiently and we teach them the 44 speech sounds with over 90 grapheme representations as well as the 7 rules of the English language and 6 lessons on syllables.One of the main pedagogical components of the Remediation Plus System curriculum is the Orton Gillingham methodology.The other pedagogical elements weaved into the ready made lesson plans is the new researchon phonological awareness training from the NICHD Research.
It is clear that once we know so very much about remediating we should prevent 90 of literacy problems with prevention thinking.
