The Air Hostess Academy AHA was set up in 1997 by a highly enterprising and motivated couple Akash and Sapna Gupta. A unique concept at that time it was the first Academy in India that trained students for the jobs of Air hostesses/Flight Stewards and Airport Ground Staff. Nearly eight years later AHA has evolved to become the No. 1 trainer for the entire service industry Aviation Hospitality and the BPO segment . The Academy is responsible for successfully placing 3000 students in leading Customer Service Organisations such as Malaysian Airlines SpiceJet Kingfisher Airlines Mahan Air Taj Group of Hotels The Oberoi Group Gecis GE Capital and several more. AHA has logged meteoric rise during a short period of eight years. Today AHA runs 18 branches across nine Indian cities and also plans setting-up operations abroad sometime soon. The burgeoning Young India s aspirations are rocketing sky high today. Coupled with this is the great boom in the aviation sector with many foreign and Indian players entering the fray every day. A pioneer training institute, AHA was set up in 1997 by Ms Sapna Gupta. Besides being ISO 9001:2000 certified, it is the first institute in the world to receive a validation for both its one and two year diploma courses from the University of Cambridge, International Examinations (CIE), UK. The academy s comprehensive training module has produced the desired results and today it is a name to reckon with in the service sector.

In 2005 AHA bagged the Golden Peacock National Award for training .Honorable chief minister of Delhi Ms Sheila Dixit honored AHA with the award. In 2006, adding one more feather in its cap; AHA received the Golden Peacock National award for Innovative product/services. The list of awards doesn t end here. Ms Sapna Gupta, the chief consultant of AHA received the Rotary Ratna award instituted by the Rotary club, Dehradun, for her commendable work in the field of innovative training. The award was given to her at a special function at Dehradun by the Honorable Governor of Uttaranchal H.E Dr Sudarshan Aggarwal. Today AHA is the only Academy of its kind in India which is trusted and used by the Government of Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra whereby hundreds of students belonging to the scheduled castes and tribes from the above mentioned states are undergoing training at AHA.
