I am a Reiki Master Teacher Member of the UK Reiki Federation teaching Usui Shiki Ryoho (Traditional Usui Reiki) at all levels in Ashford Kent.
I hold classes in small groups of 2 - 4 people, and where required, will give individual tuition. I include Japanese techniques,, which have in the past, been missing from Western Reiki, and give continuing support for students.

I also include Japanese techniques in my classes. My ? is do you do the attunement process over days which is the Traditional Usui, Hayashi, Takata attunement? I have been saddened by the proliferation of some Reiki Masters who are calling their one day classes Traditional since their is no such thing as Tradtional attunements in one day. Have you been aware of this. I just wanted to connect with like minded Teachers of my lineage to correct this. One day classes are acceptable of course but the time and training that I and others of my lineage have put into their training to honestly call themselves Traditional Usui Reiki Masters is far more than the weekend Reiki Masters that the non-Traditional Schools are producing. So for these teachers to be calling there one day classes Traditional is not kind and not true which violates of the Usui Principles which I hold in high esteem. Just wanted your feedback.
