Andy Thomas aka Progrotech is a studio synthesizer session man and part time lecturer now offering training in ArKaos Grand VJ for PC and Apple Mac, plus an introduction to powerful digital audio workstation software such as Reason, Cubase, Sound Forge, plus Live Performance and Studio Keyboard Skills at reasonable rates. One to one tuition or small groups catered for.
I am based in the UK in South Wales with good links to London and the The North and Midlands by road and rail and offer training from my home studio, a local college suite or a venue of your choice. Prices will vary depending on location .
I have music industry skills developed over 30 years experience in retail, distribution and marketing as well as studio and live band performance and I am happy to encourage enthusiastic students of all ages.

As much as I would love to offer many services free of charge I have to say that I already commit my time to chosen groups at low rates if not free. I state 30 (30 GBP) per hour but often permit an overrun without further charge when possible.

- D asked: Hi I am a mature musician based near Chepstow and seeking some additional help with Cubase where I do some of my own recording ( backing tracks, demo CD stuff etc ) I need to improve my skills and have a decent home studio setup so would like some tuition either here or can attend Abergavenny if preferred. I did do some tuition with a Bristol music producer a while back but he became prohibitively expensive and not locally based. I am mainly blues orientated so the music is relatively simple. Please advise your rates and requirements etc. Many thanks Equipment is Cubase Essentials . with good up to date spec Acer PC laptop with M Audio Black Box interface and Oxygen midi keyboards - fair number of VST plugins etc. about Progrotech
