Straylight Multimedia
Straylight produces and markets The 'Emergency Simulation Program', an authoring system for the creation and presentation of Multimedia-based Emergency Response training simulations.
Through a computer interface, the instructor controls a dynamically-generated 'movie' depicting the scenario for which the students are to be trained.
Training takes place in a classroom.
ESP is ideal for training teams of personnel, where each team member plays a specific role and interacts in that capacity with the others on the team.

Straylight produces and markets The Emergency Simulation Program (ESP). ESP is a Microsoft Windows-based authoring system for the creation and presentation of Multimedia-based Emergency Response training simulations.
ESP is an authoring system that allows trainers to create a 'database' of multimedia elements (ie. Video, Audio, and Still Images) representing a particular training scenario. For instance, the database for an Earthquake Response scenario might contain video of collapsed buildings, trapped survivors, speeding ambulances, etc., and audio of radio communication.
These elements can then be used to simulate real emergencies. For instance, elements created for the Earthquake database described above could be 'played back' in any desired order to present trainees with a simulated Earthquake scenario.
Trainees are expected to make decisions based on the scenario presented, and the instructor navigates a particular 'path' through the database of elements based on the decisions of the trainees. Thus the trainees can see the consequences of their decisions.
ESP is ideal for training teams of personnel, where each team member takes on a specific role and interacts in that capacity with the others on the team.
