BT Builders is a State licensed certified general contacting company. For more than 15 years, BT Builders has taught ADA and Fair Housing courses throughout the State of Florida. In this one day instructor-led class, students learn how these guidelines and laws affect the contractor, designer, building official, building inspector and building owners.
This course covers the Americans with Disabilities Act with an emphasis on the State of Florida Amendments. Emphasis is placed on ADA issues such as Parking, Accessible Routes and many of the individual elements which make up the ADA law and how the ADA is a combination of many other laws that are presently in effect today such as the Fair Housing Act, UFAS, Ansi Standards, Department of Defense Standards, Life Safety 101.
