Object Oriented Analysis & Design with UML : The object-oriented approach extends and improves on traditional methods of system development. Object-oriented models effectively capture and communicate system requirements in a way that closely resembles the real world and which is extensible in response to change.
The UML provides a basis for future standards in object-oriented development and draws on the practical application of OO methods by many people. The UML is widely seen as applicable to all systems including commercial, real-time, embedded and component based.
This course covers the complete development process, more...
Agile Development
Agile Development
Agile Development : Software has become an inherent part of business organizations as well as equipments and devices. In the past operational efficiency played a crucial role in business success and software applications helped in achieving it. But the need of business in the current scenario and in future will be to develop capabilities to quickly adapt to constantly changing business environments. The ability to develop and modify software quickly will determine how well business can adapt to external environments. Agile development techniques help in providing more valuable software applications in shorter timeframes.
Artistic Programing
Artistic Programing
Artistic Programing : Learning programming is distinct from learning programming languages. Just as knowing a language doesn t ensure the ability to write masterpiece literature, knowing a programming language doesn t ensure that an individual can program effectively.
Programming requires distinctive thought process and that thought process is what distinguishes an expert programmer from a novice. Unless this thinking is developed, practised and mastered, a novice would remain a novice even after years of experience. It is what you practise that you become perfect in, and if a programmer continues to practise the random ways of constructing a program from the programming language syntax, that is what remains and gets even more...
Design & Implementation of SQL Server 2000
Design & Implementation of SQL Server 2000
Design & Implementation Of SQL Server 2000 : The course starts with an introduction to client-server architecture. It introduces the Structured Query Language and builds on the complexity of query handling in SQL Server 2000.In addition it also introduces the comparison between SQL server 2000 and SQL server 2005. It includes the manipulation of Extensible Markup Language data (XML Data). This course covers data modeling, database objects, database programming, indexes and views, optimization and security and XML.
Design Patterns
Design Patterns
Design Patterns : Patterns are a recent software engineering problem-solving discipline that emerged from the object-oriented community. Design patterns are recurring solutions to software design problems you find again and again in real-world application development. Patterns are about design and interaction of objects, as well as providing a communication platform concerning elegant, reusable solutions to commonly encountered programming challenges.
This three days workshop is aimed at covering the most important design patterns essentially required by the design and development community working on any platform
Introduction To Software Architecture
Introduction To Software Architecture
Introduction To Software Architecture : Software has become an inherent part of business organizations as well as equipments and devices. The continuous change in the business environment necessitates changes to the software. An organization s ability to survive and succeed depends to a large extent on its ability to modify the software systems. The quality of architecture plays a crucial role in the capability of development teams to adapt software systems to constantly changing requirements of business.
The workshop is at introductory levels and not meant for practising architects.
SOA From Concepts To Practises
SOA From Concepts To Practises
SOA From Concepts To Practises : The worldwide integration software and services spend for the year 2006 alone stood at $4.6 billion and is anticipated to reach over $11.5 billion by 2013. In India, according to IDC, integration services market is growing at a CAGR of 37.4% and is headed to reach $30 million in services by the end of 2007. This presents myriad opportunities and challenges to the Indian IT Services industry in terms of developing the SOA and EAI strategies and the expertise needed to establish a leadership position more...
Software Testing
Requirement Based Test Case Design
Requirement Based Test Case Design : The quality of the end product depends on the aspects of the applications that are tested through designed test cases. Hence, there is a direct relation between the quality of the end product and the quality of the test cases written to test the software application. Test case design is a critical component in the testing life cycle. Test cases are meant to uncover every possible defect in the software application. The workshop is planned to understand test case design activity better and design test cases for different phases and types of testing
Software Testing Essentials
Software Testing Essentials
Software Testing Essentials : Software testing is a critical component in the software development life cycle. The end quality of the product depends on how well the product is tested. Disciplined Software testing demands clear understanding of the basic concepts to test the software application in a systematic way. As a professional Test Engineer, one has to understand the responsibilities of different roles in a testing team, eliminate ambiguities in requirements and design, understand different phases and types of testing, understand underlying concepts to build appropriate and optimized test cases to test the product, and analyze more...
Use Case Modeling
Use Case Modeling
Use Case Modeling : The goal of the software development is to develop quality software - on time and on budget - that meets customer's real needs. This goal can be reached only through effective requirements management. Requirements errors are the most common type of systems development error and the most costly to fix. A few key skills can significantly reduce requirements errors and thus improve software quality. One of the effective methods used to capture end user's requirements is through Use Cases.
Requirements Management is a process that touches every team member, both in the core team and in the extended team of the customer and more...
