Max's Kansas City Project, Inc.
We are a 501C3 non profit organization that provides emergency funding & resources to individuals in the arts in crisis, awarding one time grants of between 500-1000 to NY State residents. Secondly, we have a teen empowerment through the arts program Fearless Youth, featuring an online interactive teen cyber cafe www.dropin2maxs.com with a focus on substance abuse and suicide prevention. There are several components to the program including arts related workshops in high schools, grant support, job opportunities for our youth, and global recognition.
My goal for 2008 is to travel to schools giving talks on Pop Culture, incorporating our Fearless Youth teen empowerment program, plus meeting with potential corporate partners forming relationships for setting up a gift giving program to sustain the out-reach programs of the foundation.

- M asked: I understand that the artist Banerjee is requesting emergency assistance. I have been following his work for more than years and met him when I was Curator and Department Chair of the Department of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs at the Brooklyn Museum. His work is elegant and very original. To whom could I write a letter of support for his request? Thank you for your assistance and I look forward to hearing from you. atin Curator and Head, Department of Prints, Photographs, and Architectural Collections New-York Historical ociety. about Max's Kansas City Project, Inc.
